Ability to follow oral & written instructions.Įducation & Experience – Bachelor’s Degree with formal training as an Ophthalmic Photographer, CRS, or OCT Certification or 2 years as an Ophthalmic Photographer in a retina practice. Ophthalmic Photographers will have interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively and courteously with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers. Ophthalmic Photographers will have a vast knowledge of Zeiss fundus camera, Heidelberg HRA OCT, Cirrus OCT, Optos Wide Field camera, Ocular Anatomy & Pathology, and Ocular Medications, and the ability to administer IV’s and injections. testing, outside diagnostic testing for referring physicians, ascertains clear physician orders and or obtain clear orders from physician, provides physician with timely images, and documents services appropriately in the patient chart. The Photographer provides fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, I.C.G. The Photographer performs all steps in the processing and preparation of digital files for physicians, trouble-shoots equipment problems, and maintains working photography department equipment. testing, acquires and maintains current certification for all clinic research studies as assigned. The Photographer administers fluorescein dye via I.V., performs O.C.T. Ophthalmic Photographers at Retina Northwest, as directed by physician, provide high quality Ophthalmic Photography for while educating patient about procedures. Access to reliable transportation to support satellite clinics required. We have an Ophthalmic Photographer opening at our Sylvan location.
